merry Christmas to all of you!!!

NOT seasons greeting, happy holidays, or tis the season for gifts day.

Merry Christmas. The kids and i are looking forward to some much needed time off. I don't really know what they want do do yet, but i know they are excited for Christmas, not having to go to the sitters, sleeping in, slumber parties and having the "totally best time" as Aaron puts it. Danny told me last night he wants Starbucks for Christmas, the strawberries and creme kind to be exact. AAAHHHHHH--- i have taught him well :)

Hi y'all! we're still here.. very busy as usual. it's almost Halloween and Danny is just about don't with football season. This is a lot of fun, but it sure does take a lot of work to keep this thing current :)

long time no see???

I know, i know, i know--- it's been a long time since we've been posting. Things have been extremely busy. the last thing i want to do is open ANOTHER lap top and work on this. I promise to be more diligent in updating this altogether.

school is starting up for the boys. Anna is still a cutie and going to the sitters. Danny's in football. I will be an auntie 4 times between December and march. I love Angie (steven) and Toddy (Shannon)!! OH! and i will gain a brother in law within a couple months, too!! BIG-BIG-BIG changes coming up. so now you can see why I have been busier than over. Lot's traveling, Lot's of planning and lots of running.

camping

i am camping for the first time as an adult, well, sorta. i am not doing the overnight thing, but I did come out for the day.

i am on my laptop, updating my blog and surfing the Internet. what does this tell you about my feelings towards camping??????

potty training and a bad hair day....

Anna is experiencing all kinds of new things. Potty training is her biggest thing. she just LOVES her cute little pantie's and vinyl spankies! and sitting on the Dora big girl party is just so much fun....

today i wen tot get her a hair trim with Danny. He wanted to have his hair buzzed like Dan's, and i just wanted Anna's hair trimmed and fix her bangs. OMG!!!! the stylist asked if i cut her hair. I said NO. then she showed me where a big chunk was cut off in the back. SOMEBODY just did that. so i turned to Danny and asked if he tried to give Anna a haircut. he got really embarrassed and ashamed, so he hid behind his hands. needless to say, we couldn't hide it, so her hair was hacked off at least 4 inches to make it all blend together.

i guess it's just hair and it all grows back :(

a little over due

I know it's been a while since I'd posted anything here. things have been very busy. we haven't forgotten about any of you. I'll try to get some new pics posted this weekend :)

florida 2008

we had such an awesome time visiting my brother, his wife and my sister. we took a ton of pics because we very rarely get to see any of them. we went boating in ft Meyers, took a bike ride at sanibel island, went to a kiddie community water park, the playground, had a fire, relaxed in the hot tub.... it was so good to see them and cant wait to go back again.....

The kids had a good time playing outdoors today. Unfortunately, i lost a bunch of pics of the boys playing football, they had a great time tackling each other. I'll post the video in a separate posting....

easter basket hunt

OK-- we don't get into Easter egg hunts, going to the mall to see the Easter bunny, etc. we do, however, celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus, eat a lot, get together with friends, go to church, and create a basket of goodies like fruit, a little bit of candy, snacks for their lunch, and something else they happen to need at the time. this year it was shoes, so we went shoe shopping Friday night.

we planned on putting out their baskets before church, but completely forgot. Later this evening while we were watching TV before bed I remembered. Max and Ruby (they're bunnies who are brother and sister, and they were celebrating easter) was on and i realized we never did anything for the kids. check out what happened.....

The stomach flu as gone through all the kids this week... and this is how the boys are recovering while Anna and Dan napped.....

snow day...

we FINALLY got a new camera and we were really excited to use it. with all the snow we got we let the kids go out side and have some fun after dinner. It was Anna's first "real" time out in the snow and it was awesome!!!! the boys went sledding in the back yard and down the driveway. enjoy!!!!

Sorry we haven't been updating as frequently as usual. things have been very busy with work starting back up, getting ready for Cabo, and our camera basically died on us right in the middle of Christmas so we have no new pics to post.

if anyone has a digital camera to get rid of, please let us know!!!! i am going through withdrawals!!!

other than that, there's no cause for panic....
